Karen Bell

Karen Bell is a real estate broker and owner of Karen Bell Realty. She has been a member of the Honor Society every year since she became a realtor in 1987. An Island resident since 1979, Karen is a member of the Board of Directors of the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation, and is active with the Captiva Civic Association. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Friends Who Care, a nonprofit organization that provides financial, clothing, food, and other assistance to individuals and families in times of need.

An Ohio native, Ms. Bell attended the University of Louisville , where she majored in special education prior to her move to Sanibel. She became a member of CHR's Landlord/Tenant Committee in July 1994, continues to serve on this committee. She served on the CHR Board of Directors from 1994 to 2002, and then returned to the Board in 2006 after a 4-year hiatus.
