Administrative Assistant

Cynthia Hoggatt has been a Sanibel resident since 1986. She first came to Florida to fill the position of Office Manager for Sanibel Pottery, a local pottery company with nationwide distribution. She subsequently became Executive Assistant for a Fort Myers based engineering, environmental and land-surveying firm, in which position she prepared proposals and client correspondence for engineering and surveying services and final report documents for environmental studies. She joined the CHR staff as Administrative Assistant in October 1991.

Cyndie presently holds a Community Association Manager's (CAM) License through the State of Florida, and a Certified Florida Property Manager Certification (CFPM) through the Condominium Owners and Managers Association (COMA) of Florida. She is a 1995 graduate of the University of South Florida , with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She also has an Associate in Arts degree in Business Management through Edison Community College . In addition, she has achieved certification through The Institute of Children's Literature in Connecticut .

Cyndie has been a member of the Board of Directors of Friends Who Care, a Sanibel-based, non-profit, volunteer organization, since March 1993. She was the Host Site Coordinator for the SHARE (Self Help and Resource Exchange) program for Sanibel and Captiva from the program's inception on the Islands in October 1990, until 1993. She is also a former member of the Community Coordinating Council's Association of Provider Organizations of Lee County.

Cyndie served as a member of the Sanibel Community Church Mission Russia Ministry Team, and in 1997, was part of a combined Russian/American touring choir that performed across Russia . She served as an ambassador to Sanibel Community Church 's sister church in Chegdomyn , Russia . She also is a supporter and advocate of retired racing greyhound adoptions, and has fostered and/or adopted several ex-racing greyhounds.
